   Summary: A neutron reflection method is developed for measuring the concentration of the neutron absorbing gadolinium in the tanks of the liquid poison injection shutdown system of a CANDU reactor. The feasibility of the method is demonstrated experimentally, and Monte Carlo simulations are utilized to design and model the performance of a proposed device.
